GIF Compression Software

Introduction

I'm moving away from GIFs in their original form¹. Looking into other things like mp4s and avifs²,

But, if I ever need to move back to them these are a couple pieces of compression/optimization software to throw in the mix:

gifsicle - this is the thing to look at
lossy GIF compressor - giflossy - keeping these links, but they have been merged info gifsicle

I may never need them, but that's where they are if I do.
