Which Color Will David Pick and Why?

I follow David Njoku on Mastodon. As with most folks on social media, I don't know much about them. I certainly appreciate this post, though:

I have an opinion on everything. Yes, EVERYTHING. And because I'm educated, I am able to make my (usually un-thought-through) opinion sound sensible.

Test me. Send me any topic and I'll give you an opinion.

In truth I should only have an opinion on:

- what should I have for dinner?

- should I rewear this t-shirt or does it smell?

So, here's question. Which color of green is better:

Tropical Rainforest

Or,

Jungle

More importantly, why is it better?

I love this. Mostly because I made a snap judgment based only on the names, and then I clicked the link ... to find out that I was right.

I don't need to say this but I'll say it nonetheless: it's tropical rainforest, all day every day.

I don't like the word jungle, cos even tho I haven't looked into it I feel that it comes with an undercurrent of racism. I know that is originally an Indian word. But so is shampoo, and that's not racist.

Time for me to go dig into some etymologies.
